Yesterday, I realized that quite a few things around me do not have a name.
Ex-man, puppy, my profession...
Things are
in motion, fluid.
Changing.
This used to define me: ‘Everything I ever let go off has scratch marks all over it’
Hanging on for dear life…
'What is yours' can never be taken away. What can be taken never was yours' in the first place.'
What is mine is the joy in the moment.
Eva washing grapes.
All the matches that are still here, even after the Valentine is gone.
Strange mirror images.

Luckily,
this is changing too.

Strange mirror images.
And a quiet evening on my couch, listening to the crickets and watching Lola catching moths.
Lots of love,

Some food for thought here. Naming things does, in essence, create a definition of self. Now I'm wondering how often that definition confines us!
ReplyDeleteThis: 'What is yours' can never be taken away. What can be taken never was yours' in the first place.' inspired me.
ReplyDeleteContinue to stay focused, positive and strong. It will continue to get better.
So sorry. Great saying.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is not so bad :-)
DeleteI love that saying. I am thinking of you and am making something dedicated to you and your saying. Love the match reference....the part with the fire, stayed.
ReplyDeleteThat saying about what is yours is beautiful. Did you make that up?
ReplyDeleteYou are very strong woman. And that is very inspiring!
