Waking up in the middle of the night, spread out over the bed, I realize how nice it can be to sleep alone.
Snatches of a dream, an airplane? Not wanting to fly?
When I wake again it is 5 o’clock. Time to get up.
Sitting outside with my coffee,
watching the waning moon , the last pleasantly cool moments of the day.
Then packing the lunch box. A big yawn from the back-to-school kid.
Where is my hairbrush?
Did you pack your books?
Put your shoes on, we have to go.
I still have to brush my hair mum.
Beautifully familiar

lunch, homework...

I just love to read every blog you write. You seem to have the well of magic dust inside of you, which you sprinkle over everything in your life, and by sharing it on your blog it spills over into ours. That is such a wonderful gift and I cannot thank you enough for sharing it with us. big hugs my dear Jutta!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift you have for seeing the beauty in the everyday moments! I get a feeling of peacefulness just looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat Maureen said--exactly! I love seeing your world.
ReplyDeleteLove your posts. You have such a way with that magic dust! Tomorrow is my turn as we kept the kids out of school two extra days for some snow time :) I need some of your magic dust for tomorrow's routine!

You do know you have an endless supply of magic dust, don't you? Just never forget where you keep it!
ReplyDeleteThe next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
