We had quite an interesting weekend so far.
On Friday afternoon, Eva and I went to the Namibian Gymnastic Championships that were hosted by her club. She will
only start competing next year, so it was pretty relaxed.
Here some impressions of a friend of hers warming up before her routine:
her with brown smears around her mouth :-):
Saturday was spent fixing the ceiling in the healing room, part 1 of my big home improvement project:
Luckily we had a lot of help from lovely Simon:
This is what it looks like now:
The boys after a long day hard at work:
One of our many pomegranate flowers. In the 7 years we have been living here now, I never had a single pomegranate.
The birds always get there first!
And for the first time we could also harvest some potatoes (they passed the feline inspection):
More parts of cats:
Then we said good night to the birdies:
And to the garden. My man and I were asleep at 9, while Eva was reading until midnight :-).
Sunday, saying good morning to the birdies, who have built a whole village in the orchid tree:
And now I will go and inspect my couch, 'Mollie Makes' is waiting....
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Lots of love,

And we had rain! What a lovely weekend!

Good job with the ceiling - but what is a healing room?
ReplyDeleteThanks, just taking a break from painting :-). I am working as an energy healer, and this is the room I work in. Sorry for confusing you, I am so used to calling this room ‘healing room’ that I didn’t realize that it might sound strange to other people…
DeleteHugs to you
