It is 35 ° C (95 ° F) in the shade.
The air flickers over the dry earth and it is very quiet. Nothing moves outside.
Inside, I am still sorting through things. Two years ago we came back from spending a couple of months in Germany.
All we had were three suitcases full of clothes and books, and the house was wonderfully empty. Where does all that
stuff standing around come from?
I feel very slow today, and making decisions is difficult.
It is also difficult to carry stuff through the kitchen, because the cats, dogs and chickens are stretched out on the tiles.
It is even too hot to bake.
But it is just the right temperature to christen my beautiful, new, grey, crinkly bowls:
Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and berries, yum :-).
A beautiful Saturday to you, and if you are tired of the rain please send some over to us, we would so welcome it here!
Lots of love,

Those plates are beautiful. The ice cream is tempting. I hope some rain comes your way soon.
