Dangerous pretzels

Please be careful, you are reading this post at your own peril.

My daughter is organizing a Valentine's party for school and has volunteered my services to provide something sweet.
I really really really do not want to make cupcakes for 50 kids, so I spent the afternoon researching what else
is out there. Unfortunately the drooling got so bad that I had to abandon my quest.

And then I remembered something I used to basically live off years ago, back when healthy living was not very high on my list of priorities.

It is simple, it is delicious, and it is perfect for my daughter’s party.

Here is what you need:

Rolos (the more the better)
little salty pretzels
Pecan nuts

Preheat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit)
Put the pretzels on a baking sheet and place one rolo on each pretzel

Put the pecan nuts next to the pretzels and sprinkle with some salt

Bake for about 4 minutes until the chocolate becomes soft but doesn't run and the pecan nuts are not black yet. Put a pecan nut on each Rolo pretzel and let it cool down. If you are making these as a give-away it is wise to immediately put them in the fridge and keep the door closed...

A forgotten side effect of these little morsels came back to me when I tasted one.

The thing is, there is no such thing as tasting one.

Once you start it is very very difficult to stop, which is why I will have to work on my willpower tonight and then make a fresh batch tomorrow....

Don't say I didn't warn you.
